Speaking Part 2: Discussion
Phần tiêu đề “Speaking Part 2: Discussion”Your English friend is going to sit in an important exam. He asks you for an ideal place for revision. Which would you choose: at home, in the school library, or in the coffee shop?
Bài mẫu:
Phần tiêu đề “Bài mẫu:”I would choose the school library. I think it is the best place for my friend to study for his exam.
The first reason is that the library is very quiet. There are no people talking loudly, so my friend can concentrate on his study. This is very important when you prepare for a big exam.
The second reason is that there are many books and materials in the library. If my friend needs to look up some information, he can find it right away. He does not need to go anywhere else.
I would not choose studying at home because there are too many distractions. For example, he might watch TV or play with his phone instead of studying. As for the coffee shop, it is usually noisy and he has to spend money on drinks. That is not a good choice.
In short, the school library is the best option because it is quiet and has everything my friend needs.
Speaking Part 3: Topic Development (nói 2 phút)
Phần tiêu đề “Speaking Part 3: Topic Development (nói 2 phút)”Smoking should be banned in public places: environmental pollution, health risks, and a bad image for children.
Bài mẫu:
Phần tiêu đề “Bài mẫu:”Today, I would like to talk about why smoking should be banned in public places. I strongly agree with this idea, and I have three reasons.
Firstly, smoking causes environmental pollution. When people smoke in public places like parks or bus stations, the smoke pollutes the air around them. Also, many smokers throw their cigarette butts on the ground, which makes the environment dirty. This is a big problem in many cities in Vietnam.
Secondly, smoking is very harmful to people’s health. The people nearby have to breathe in secondhand smoke, which is even more dangerous than smoking directly. According to many studies, secondhand smoke can lead to lung cancer and heart disease. So, people who do not smoke are also at risk.
Thirdly, smoking in public places gives children a bad image. When children see adults smoking on the street, they may think it is normal and try to imitate this behavior when they grow up. As parents, we should set a good example for the young generation.
In conclusion, I believe the government should ban smoking in public places in order to protect the environment, keep people healthy, and create a good image for children.

Bài mẫu:
Phần tiêu đề “Bài mẫu:”Dear Sarah,
Thank you for your letter! I am so happy to hear from you. You asked me about my 20th birthday, so let me tell you about it.
My birthday was on March 15th last month. I held a small party at my house and invited about 15 of my closest friends and my family. My mother cooked a lot of delicious food, and my father bought me a beautiful birthday cake.
During the party, we ate, sang karaoke, and took many photos together. My friends gave me lovely gifts such as flowers, a teddy bear, and some books. The most special moment was when everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to me and I blew out the candles. I also received a new phone from my parents, which was a big surprise!
I felt so happy and grateful on that day. It was one of the most memorable days in my life because I realized how much my family and friends care about me.
I hope you can come to Vietnam and celebrate my next birthday with me! Write back soon and tell me about your birthday too.
Love, Linh
Writing Task 2: Essay — Discuss both views
Phần tiêu đề “Writing Task 2: Essay — Discuss both views”Nowadays, salaries of athletes are 10 times higher than those of teachers. Some think athletes deserve high salaries because of their hard training and injuries. Others think professions like teachers, doctors, and police also deserve higher pay. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Bài mẫu:
Phần tiêu đề “Bài mẫu:”Nowadays, it is common for athletes such as footballers to earn much more money than teachers or doctors. Some people believe that athletes deserve their high salaries, while others think that other professions should also be paid better. In this essay, I will discuss both views and give my opinion.
On the one hand, there are good reasons why athletes earn a lot of money. Firstly, they have to train very hard from a very young age. They practice every day for many hours, and this takes a lot of effort and dedication. Secondly, athletes often suffer from injuries that can affect their health for the rest of their lives. Moreover, their careers are usually very short — most athletes retire before they are 35 years old. Therefore, they need high salaries to prepare for their future after retirement.
On the other hand, many people believe that professions like teaching and medicine are equally important for society. Teachers play a vital role in shaping the future generation. Without good teachers, there would be no good doctors, engineers, or even athletes. Similarly, doctors save people’s lives every day, and they also work long hours under great pressure. However, their salaries are much lower than those of athletes, which is unfair.
In my opinion, I believe that all professions have their own value. Athletes work hard, but teachers and doctors contribute greatly to society too. The government should find a way to increase salaries for important professions so that everyone is paid more fairly.
