Yes, I really enjoy reading in my free time. I usually read short stories and novels because they help me relax after a long day. I think reading is a very good habit.

I usually read at home, especially before going to bed. I have a small bookshelf in my bedroom and I like to read on my bed. Sometimes, I also read at the library near my school because it is very quiet there.

I think books are very important in my life. They help me gain knowledge and learn many new things. Moreover, reading books helps me improve my vocabulary and my writing skills. I believe that books are good friends that can teach us a lot.

4. Have you ever given books as gifts?

Yes, I have. Last year, I gave my best friend a book on her birthday. It was a book about how to learn English. She really appreciated it because she was preparing for her English exam. I think books are meaningful gifts because they are useful.

On holidays, I usually spend time with my family. We often cook together and have a big meal at home. Sometimes, I go out with my friends to watch movies or go shopping.

I like to go to the beach on holidays because I love swimming and playing in the sand. My favorite beach is in Da Nang. Besides, I also enjoy going to the countryside to visit my grandparents.

Yes, I think holidays are very important for everyone. After working or studying hard, we need time to rest and recharge. Having holidays also helps us spend quality time with our family and friends.

My favorite holiday is Tet because my whole family gets together. We eat traditional food, visit our relatives, and children receive lucky money. It makes me feel very happy and warm every year.

I would choose visiting family. I think it is the best activity for a holiday.

The first reason is that holidays are a great chance to strengthen family bonds. During the holiday, my whole family can eat together, talk, and share stories. We are all very busy on normal days, so this is a precious time to be with each other.

The second reason is that being with my family makes me feel relaxed and happy. When I am with my parents and grandparents, I feel warm and loved. This helps me recharge after working hard.

I would not choose hiking because it can be very tiring and sometimes dangerous, especially when the weather is bad. As for going swimming, it depends on the season. In winter, it is too cold to swim, and not everyone knows how to swim.

In short, visiting family is the best choice because it helps me feel happy and brings my family closer together.

Nowadays, stress has become a very common problem in modern life. Many people, from students to workers, suffer from stress every day. In this essay, I will discuss the main causes and effects of stress.

There are several causes of stress. Firstly, many people feel stressed because of tight deadlines at work or school. They have too much work to do in a short time, so they feel pressured. Secondly, social pressure is another cause. Many young people compare themselves with others on social media, which makes them feel anxious and not good enough. Finally, working or studying for long hours without rest also leads to stress. When people do not have time to relax, they become tired and unhappy.

Stress can cause many negative effects. First, it can lead to mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. Stressed people often feel sad and cannot enjoy life. Second, stress causes sleeping problems like insomnia. People who are stressed find it hard to fall asleep at night. Moreover, stress can also affect our physical health.
